Restored in 1975 by Ana and Nick Jones, we are Cumbria's only fully operational watermill, committed to the production of high quality flour using British grain. With the help of a small, dedicated team of people, this business and its products are both unique and special. Currently we are producing a wide range of bio-dynamic and organic stoneground flours milled the traditional way using clean, self-renewing waterpower. This website brings you the best of traditional technology from a small Cumbrian village. We can't send you our delicious flours by offering them for downloading, but we can do the next best thing, by giving you a taste of our products which you can order direct from us via our online shop or by mail order.

We are one of the few mills in the country offering some Bio-Dynamic quality flours. Currently these include 100% Wholwheat Flour, Rye Flour, Barley Flour, Spelt Flour and Unbleached.

PRICE CHANGES

As you will know the cost of both grain and fuel have been rising steeply and steadily since the start of the year. Along with everyone else in the food sector we have had to review our costs and prices. We have made some changes to prices in the on-line shop...mostly up but some seeds and dried fruit prices have come down.
