Little Salkeld Watermill

Mills, artists and photographers seem to attract each other. Mills are usually in delightful settings, and full of interest to anyone with a creative eye. The Watermill at Little Salkeld is no exception. This two day course will be led by two artists - Nick Jones, who, with Ana, restored the mill and has lived here since 1974; and their younger daughter Kittie Jones, now based in Edinburgh. Nick and Kittie will provide support, ideas, and inspiration, as well as some unusual approaches, to drawing, painting and photographing the mill and its surroundings. The course will be suitable for those with some, little, or no previous experience of drawing and painting. All you need to bring is yourself, your enthusiasm, and your camera if you like.
