The Watermill at Little Salkeld is one of the country's few working waterpowered cornmills still producing stoneground flour the traditional way. We are also one of very few dedicated to milling only organic and bio-dynamic standard British grains . We aim to combine the best of traditional methods with friendly service and efficient delivery. Our business philosophy is CARE - for the planet, for sustainable energy and agriculture, for the health of the soil, plants and animals - and of course for our customers !

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process the order.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch. You may send your credit or debit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
Please note we do not yet deliver outside the United Kingdom.
Shipping And Handling
Carriage costs are as follows : Basic charge of £9.50 for any weight up to 29 Kilo maximum, Includes creditcard handling costs
NB SPECIAL CARRIAGE CHARGES
Extra £8.00 if you live in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland with postcodes: IV,HS, KA27-28,KW,PA20-49,PA60-78,PH17-26,PH30-44,PH49-50,ZE .
Extra £8 if you live in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Scilly Isles.
Delivery Schedule
We normally send out orders by Parcelforce weekly on Wednesdays.. Delivery is a 48 hour service, and your parcel should therefore arrive by the end of Friday. Please ring us on Monday morning if your order has not arrived so that we can track it with Parcelforce. If your parcel is badly damaged on delivery, please do not accept it, and let us know.
Deliveries to the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scilly Islands or the Highlands and Islands of Scotland may take longer - up to 3 or 4 days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will send it on later or deduct the cost from your total..
Tax Charges
All our mail order products are currently VAT free.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
If you are not happy with any of our products please let us know within 7 days of receipt and we will arrange to replace, refund the cost or credit you against a future order.
